Motion Tweens

What is a motion tween? How is it different from a shape tween?

A motion tween simply creates movement between keyframes. it differs from a shape tween as the animations do not, morph or change from one shape into another. The movement may be object or character moving from one side of the screen to another. Extra movement or changes can be added to the tweens by resizing, rotating or adding fades.

The video below demonstrates how a basic motion tween can be created.
